Greetings. We are in the process of transferring?our Yahoo group of fourteen?years to groups.io.? Many/most of our members (including me) are not experienced with the #hashtag feature.? I am looking for any relevant, useful, and short YouTube videos or other resources that would simply and clearly explain how to use them to share with our group members. So far, I have found videos focused on Twitter and Instagram usage. Any suggestions?

You could start with the Wiki here /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Creating-Hashtags and the info on the Help page /static/help#hashtags.? There have many discussions about them on this group and on the beta group, .
BTW, using only hashtags in the subject line makes it impossible to get to the thread later to read it since clicking on it will take you to a list of the messages with that tag. This doesn't happen any more since Mark 'fixed' the hashtag usage in the Subject line.? Sorry if I caused any confusion.
