How long before transfer of Yahoo Group?

 

I had requested a transfer of my Yahoo Group about 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything yet. Can anyone say about how long it will take to transfer a group over? ?Yahoo is a sinking ship and would really like to?escape.

The status page may give us some clue where you are in the process, but at two weeks I'd say something got lost in the cracks and you'll need to either start again or contact [email protected]

Hi, Ken,
I just joined this group and am reading everything with interest. Our Yahoo group moved last month to IOgroups and I think it only took a few hours to go live. I set up the group again and then sent a link to my Yahoo group and everyone clicked on it and we got moving
Did you save your information? As in scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and make sure that you've saved things.?

It shouldn't be be taking that long. We would need more information to help. Where are you in the process? Have you invited the transfer agent to your Yahoo group and made it a moderator?

I am having the same problem.
I created the groups.io group. ? no subgroup involved.?
I clicked the Start New Trasfer button
I sent an invite to my Yahoo group from the Yahoo group invite panel to [email protected]
4 days later [email protected]?accepted the invitation. ?That was Tuesday. ?It's now Friday.
I made [email protected] a moderator on my Yahoo group.?
I was expecting an email directing me to make the?[email protected]?member a moderator. ?That hasn't arrived. ?Perhaps I moved to early?
I expected the In Process selection to offer something other than a "-". ?
What do I do next??
 

I sent an email to [email protected] and they stopped the procedure and directed me to start it again. Apparently the system lost me somehow. ? I had already added [email protected] to the moderator list before the sequence broke in the first try.? This time the sequence completed in a couple of hours.? I'm all set with our group.
