Do transferred members, as from YahooGroups, receive a copy of the introductory message?

I can post it when all the members have been transferred but I’m just wondering if I need to do this. Since members are transferred in stages on large lists, It would mean posting it several times.

You could put it in the Welcome notice and make sure to select that to be sent when doing the transfer.? You could change it to something more appropriate for new members after the transfer is complete.

My mistake.? It's actually even easier, just select the last box "Send a message to your members when the transfer is complete" when starting the transfer.? You could also set up a Welcome Notice if you want to make it more 'personal'.
