Moving files to photos
For various reasons over the years, some members resorted to uploading photos to our group by the use of folders within the files section of Y!G. Now that we are fully transferred to Grio, is there a way to move the folders containing photos over to photos and creating albums out of the folders? Housekeeping of sorts.

There's no easy way.? You'd have to download the photos, then upload them to albums in the photo area.? The biggest 'problem' with that is that all the photos would belong to you.? If the members that originally loaded them are still on the group, they could do the download/upload thing so that they'd retain ownership.

That's what I was afraid of. As a co-owner of the group, I'm already 'owner' of photos in both the photos and file sections that had been originally uploaded by members who have left the group for one reason or another before the transfer. Those are the ones I really wanted to move without downloading and uploading. Oh well.
