A person sent me a link to a site that says " Groups.io is for sale" Is there any truth to that?

I did a web search for that wording and seems to me it's a lot of different sites that are selling coupons or codes for buying stuff from various different groups on groups IO.

Don't think it's the web site that's for sale just different stuff by different groups from what I saw.

Yikes. It will begin the cycle of Yahoo Groups and end up in the dustbin.

I don't know now. I did a search later, and I couldn't find any reference to it. All I can think is it was an anomaly.
