Bob, It sounds like you are a moderator of the Y!Group but lack the privilege to "Add, remove, and change moderator privileges". Without that you're stuck. Another symptom would be in the Moderators

Wow! I clicked the arrow on the Groups.IO website for a Topic, and, sure enough, one of the options on the drop-down menu was "unmoderate topic." Who knew? LOL!
