Re: #Howlong does approval take? #howlong #membership
My group was approved in about 10 minutes so unless there is some other issue you should get it soon.

Hey Everyone, Now that my group is approved, I am trying to add members. This is a new group and I am not transferring from Yahoo, but adding members one at a time. I sent an invitation to a team

Re: Is there a way to run my Yahoo group and groups.io simultaneously #transfer
I have left one of my yahoo groups open, and the odd person still posts there. In fact, if I have a lot of picture type jokes, I send it to the yahoo group instead of incurring excess mb¡¯s on .io.

Re: After the transfer, some YG subscribers immediately opt out of new list on groups.io
Jim, I've been saving the unsubscribe notices/e-mails and after a month may just send a follow-up notice in case they did exactly what you said. KEN "It has always seemed strange to me," said Doc.

Re: After the transfer, some YG subscribers immediately opt out of new list on groups.io
I know first hand that members in one group I belong to quit because of the move. They thought they had been added to a new group, that they did not request be added to, not related to the yahoo group

You don't have to use hashtags at all.

Re: Is there a way to run my Yahoo group and groups.io simultaneously #transfer
There shouldn't be any problem using both sites.? Please remember that once the transfer is done, new messages on the YG won't be copied to the Groups.io group. Duane -- Help:

Me, too. I meant to add a comment like that to my own "testimonial." Mark always responds politely and immediately to my "bug reports" (sic) explaining, when it turns out that I've done something

Hi, ? The only negative I find about groups.io is the introduction of the hashtags !?? But then, I'm an old man with all the baggage that goes with that. ? Groups.io is? ? ? ? Always there ?

Re: After the transfer, some YG subscribers immediately opt out of new list on groups.io
Ken/all, ? Another possible explanation is that they see the invite from groups.io ? ? ? ? ?===> and treat it as spam. If you don't read the invite it's easy to reach the "what's this?" state

Re: After the transfer, some YG subscribers immediately opt out of new list on groups.io
Don, This is something I have also thought about. I wonder how many actual members I have due to members that are already gone (new email address) and not taking the time to unsubscribe, or dying

Re: After the transfer, some YG subscribers immediately opt out of new list on groups.io
Maybe this is related to the confusion, that I mentioned in a previous post, of members mistakenly thinking they had been added to a new group they did not request a subscription to. As I also
