I thought the explanation was clear. "Pending Members list > Message > 'Email delivery History'" will only show the last email delivered.? In your case, that was the confirmation email.? I believe

No. If the applicant doesn't already have a groups.io account, a confirmation email is sent along with the Pending Subscription notice. I don't recall which is sent first.

Groups.io keeps track of which account is logged in by a cookie in your browser. It doesn't matter which email had the link that you clicked on.

Did I miss something? In (at least) one of my groups, several files have an upload date of Feb 7. That is not when my members would have posted the file. I may have missed a notice from Groups.io
