There is a perfectly simple workaround for this; the Pending Subscription message that the group I moderate uses it clearly states that if you don't reply you won't get in. And we mean it. Chris

Terri, You can, right from the Bouncing list. Though if the bounce reason for a given address indicates a permanent issue (address is "disabled", or "not found" or similar) the attempt may be futile.
