Re: mbox upload - dates are missing #mbox #ioimportpl
I had ~600 topics. I used an auto-mouse click program to delete them all :-). Per your suggestion, I created a subgroup, but it had only the owner shared from the main group. I would have to re-add

Re: out of control fonts
As far as font size and style, Duane is right. It is dependent on your device. As you see from my test this evening, you can take out crazy fonts and colours with "normalize" in settings. ?However

Re: out of control fonts
Ken, I just tested it. There is a difference, both online in the group and in my email on my computer (MacBook) and on my iPhone. With normalize turned on in settings, it looks fine, conventional.

Re: out of control fonts
Frances It's been my observation that messages are normalized on the web UI, but the original text (size, style, etc) is sent out to members via the email bounce.? Is your experience different?

Re: Including images in the body of a message, and not just as an attachment. #images
The method (an image is either attached or inserted) seems to me to be dependant on the email application.? Outlook always attaches files (unless you? go thru permutations,) while iOS always inserts

Re: Subscribers trying to get digest, but still getting all individual messages.
Unless they copy and paste, they may not be.? YG used a - after the group name, GIO uses a +, so they may be typing the wrong thing. Duane -- Help: /static/help GMF's Wiki:

Re: ideas for syncing goup members to a third party
If you can write some code to glue the two together, or know someone who can :-), the groups.io API has functions for managing list membership, removing members from a group [1], sending invitations

Re: Files - seeing more than 50 on one page
Actually, all the items are on one long list.? It's what the member has set for Items Per Page that determines how many show up at once.? You'll need to find a way to explain to them how to change

Re: Owner locked out of moderation
First, check the footers of an email from your group to double-check your email address. Second, do you have other owners or moderators with the ability to set moderator privileges and remove members.

Subscribers trying to get digest, but still getting all individual messages.
So I moved an email list with 4500 subscribers from Yahoo Groups to Groups.io. To help ease the transition, I've sent a couple posts that basically expand on the info in the Automated help file,

Re: Duplication of photos in "Emailed Photos" folder
Bruce, I figured it out that I could edit out the photos by going through the message edit option.? What deleted the entire message was was trying to directly delete the photo from the photo album.
