If he's not receiving emails either (couldn't really tell from your post), you should check his user record. Go to Admin->Members, find the record, and click on it. You should be able to see here

There is more to it than that.?In addition to what you have seen, there are other areas that are not anonymized.?In the email, the "Reply to Sender" link identifies the poster's account email
