But those areas aren't supposed to be, and aren't assumed to be, anonymized. An email specifically from the "group owner" in the Send Message feature from a member's page was designed specifically so that the owner/moderator can be identified only in that capacity, rather than with their member identity or email address. Group messages are never assumed to be anonymous. Email addresses are not hidden in groups.io.
