There is a unique identifier for each message in Groups.io If you open a message, it is the link icon in the right of the date. You can copy that URL from the icon and send it or revisit the post /

Since, I'm assuming, you have Moderated checked in the Spam Control section, you could uncheck New Users Moderated (and save the change), so this wouldn't show up.? It won't change those that already

Frances noted: person's name in their email address. A note about Display names - Display names can be unique to the group the user belongs to. They do not carry across with the user to other groups.
