I think Sandi Kozinn makes a very valid point; "likes" are much less cluttering than posts simply sent in agreement. In practice many users will have no idea that any given post has been "liked" for the simple reason that they use whatever groups they are members of by email only, and of course there is no "like" provision by email. OK; if they were optional it would be a matter of choice for the group owner, but I wouldn't want them to be simply removed. They are, IMHO, harmless, and once Mark has had time to recover from the recent melee there will, I suspect, be more significant changes to consider. Chris |

Other than seeing a count on the message screen, do "likes" even do anything here?I'd rather see a count of, say, 8 "likes" on a post than have to skim through 8 posts in my mailbox that say nothing but "I agree." Preferences may vary, I understand, but anything that cuts down on clutter is great with me. Sandy |

Searching for Photo Albums
I can't find a way to search and find specific photo albums. If I enter the album Title in the Search box, that takes me to the *contents* of the photo album. If I enter the name of an individual photo, that takes me to that one photo. But, I can't find a way to get directly to the photo album thumbnail in the 35 pages of Photo albums.
Is there a way to do this? -- Best wishes, Larry McDavid W6FUB Anaheim, California (SE of Los Angeles, near Disneyland) |

Duane,
Every time I go the GIO posting to select a LIKE then leave the page, regardless of the group in IO, a DFAT message is created in that group.? For this group alone, I had over 23 LIKES and 23 drafts in the DRAFTS column on the left. So, now I have begun to hate using the LIKE button to the point of disabling it would be a good idea. Re: Invalid request, no reverse DNS for.... Not just an Outlook problem
Talk about jinxing myself... a few hours after this I just received 6 bounced mails in a row due to the "no reverse DNS" error. Then worked fine. I suspect there may have been a temporary delay on someone's end, but I'm pretty sure we're on the right track with the increased look up time solution that Mark has been implementing.
