That depends. Uploading copyrighted material is a good way to get your group deleted.

You may encounter timeout errors when attempting to upload large files. And of course, your group is limited in storage capacity depending on your payment plan (see /static/pricing).

Generally speaking, groups.io is designed for collaboration, not for cloud storage.

Gene -- What is reported on the group home page ("Group Information") is the number of topics. The number of individual messages within those topics can reasonably be expected to be quite a bit higher.

Look at the message number of the most recent message in the group. If you find that to be more to your liking, you probably just need to wait for the indexing to catch up.

I see that the email accounts in message history are masked even for PUBLIC groups on Groups.IO which is good.?? However,? if we export/import in past Yahoo message history and enlist the help of the Groups.IO transfer team will the email accounts be similarly masked in this past history?? Does this depend on whether the group is public or private?? Keep in mind that many of the persons involved in the past history at Yahoo may not be making the transfer to Groups.IO (this may or may not be relevant).??

Also,? should the past message history be loaded in before the group starts current posting or could we start the group and then get the old history loaded?? If you're primary index is date then this should not matter, hopefully it doesn't.? I don't think our members want to wait around in Yahoo, with it's ups and downs, until the old history gets loaded.? You must have quite a backlog at this point..

What are you basing this on?? Mark has said that the indexing system is lagging, sometimes up to 24 hours, so what's reported on the group home page isn't necessarily right.? It should be much better today if that's what it was.

There's a compromise built into the system.? When you click on a photo, it's rendered as large as possible.? If you select Download below it, you'll see it at the size that it's stored at.? ? Our groups were? set up with pending membership notice to be sent and replied to, before admitting new member, for the life of me I cant find where I can set up the various notifications that needed by our group.. ? Can someone advise please-? thanks Steph ? ?

The owner of the group should check their Subscription using the left menu.? Scroll down to the bottom and make sure All Emails is selected under the Owner Email section.? (Moderators may also be able to use this setting, but at least one person needs to at all times.)? Any emails already received from a non-member are lost, so that person will need to reply again.

It's still working, but I did have to set and reset it and hard-refresh the page as it started out not working. I have quite a few extensions running. I have NOT updated my NVidia driver lately.

I use my iPad and havent found a font size and style choice either. I found a work around by ?launching another app with my preferred Helvetica 16 font. After composing, I paste it into the IO message and it preserves my formatting.?

Very possibly, but you are asking the in wrong place. The GMF is a peer-to-peer group and nobody from Groups.io watches it, or at least not officially .

You will need to take this idea to beta (where IIRC the matter has been raised before) but now might not be the time to do it, with Mark very heavily engaged (as in overloaded I suspect) in migrating groups from Yahoo.
