Sorry about not being more specific. Non-members cannot post to group.

Actually, this entity tried three times before this post, each with a different post title.

Mark -- This same question has been asked many times over the past two weeks.

You can download the message archive to your PC using PG Offline or one of the other tools previously mentioned.?Having done that, you can then print them to a PDF, which can be uploaded; or create an HTML file to put in your wiki...etc.

But no, there is no means available to incorporate them into your message base -- threaded, indexed, and searchable -- without paying the $220.

Groups.io can transfer message archives, properly owned and properly threaded, (without attachments, however), photos, files, links and databases. Calendar entries are not copied at this time. Subscribers (members) are also transferred, maintaining their subscription options and ownership of each message and other group content.

Those with "no mail" status in YG migrating to a Groups.io group with "no mail" disabled will have Special Notice status instead.

Re: moving emails from yahoo to io

Mark,
Unless you want to pay the transfer fee, I think your best bet would to be just to repost them via the owner email address from the drop-down including the same subject line and just copy paste the original posters information and post into a new thread on IO.
?
Since it is just 50 messages, that's what I would do.

I just did some testing and you're probably right.? Try using your iPad in landscape mode, then check.? When the screen gets too narrow, some things are left off of the menu.

Re: Moving Yahoo group can't find how to invite [email protected]

Bonnie,

If you just want to use your Group as a mailing list, without archives, files, photos, etc you may not have to move at all.
My understanding, always subject to correction, is tha Yahoo Groups is becoming just an email reflector.

FWIW.

Hi Bruce,?
I own/moderate 3 groups. I haven't been into my Admin settings in any of the group's to check or uncheck that box so I am thinking the default is something other than Normalize HTML Emails.?

Are you referring to an Admin setting in my IO account or an Admin setting in each group?
I am headed over now to see if I can find it/them.?

I thought maybe it was the iPad that was prevented me from seeing font styles and sizes.?
Many Thanks,

Re: Searching for NC badges / digest clarification

If you download the member list, you'll get a CSV of all the members.? The last column is
? ?"User Status(0=Not Confirmed,1=Confirmed,2=Inactive,3=Bouncing,4=Bounced)"

If you import that CSV into a spreadsheet, you should be able to sort by the las
t column and see all your NCs.

If that email address is a part of the YG, it would be better to remove him.? As Frances mentioned, you need to set your group to Restricted to prevent people from automatically being added as members.

Bruce,
I have several subscriptions to a test group. ? Different Email subscriptions to cover all choices
Individual email and special both give me the problem.
Haven¡¯t gotten a digest or summary yet.

Most times when you see "Sorry, an error occurred while loading the content." it's a sign that Yahoo isn't working correctly.

To promote the transfer agent, you will need the "Add, remove, and change?moderator?privileges"?permission in your Y!G.

I don't see anyplace to view or change permissions. I was just recently upgraded to moderator in order to effect these transfers so am a noobie moderator.
You can't do it. The existing Owner will either have to provide you with this permission, make you a co-owner, or promote the transfer agent himself
