I think I created this problem, here are the steps I took.
1.? I created a group.
2.? I uploaded a list of members to invite.? I failed to remove my email address from that list.
3.? I was sent an invitation to the group.?
4.? I clicked on the link to accept the invitation on the website.
5.? I am no longer Owner of the group.
What can I do to get this corrected?

Back when transfer was free, imported our databases.? I was then able to use that guidance to create json templates.

So, not sure that will help but may let you see certain characteristics of each cell.

OK thank you Shal. It makes sense. Yes all my other settings are fine. People are working out the kinks on their end but are finding it very easy to change their subscriptions.?

Could you not hjave saved them as MBox message archives then given them to mark to import? This is what i did for my mail man listsome years ago.
I actually tried asking [email protected] about doing this but only got a form reply. Can you please give any details on how this worked back when you had it done? Thank you! Su

At Yahoo as a moderator or owner: Management > Manage members Click on Joined to sort the list by date joined. Probably [email protected] will be at the top of the list. A window pops up.? Click on Role and set "Moderator" Click "Save" at the bottom

Scott, Can I manually add members to the new group or will that mess up the
migration? What Duane said. The only issue with members is that the transfer agent will skip any email address that is already in the Groups.io group. Which is not normally a big deal, it means that their Email Delivery, Posting Privileges and Join date aren't copied from the Yahoo Group. I've heard of cases where having an old Join date is considered a prestige item in the group, so if that matters to anyone you might hold off on adding them before the transfer. Susan, Day 3. My concern is after Oct 28, will IO groups still have access to
my files and member list to do a complete transfer ... Nothing is a guarantee with Yahoo, but what they say is that the archives will stay available until December 14th. Your group is awaiting export from Yahoo. [Step 1 of 4]

info, Nope. It says right there that you're in the queue waiting to start copying from Yahoo. ... but I have over 400,000 messages and 10,000+ members. So at the step where the content copied from Yahoo is being installed in your group, you'll have an extra-special long wait. But that's ok even if it went past December 14th, so long as the export from Yahoo finished. about 400 people have transferred themselves over. Those 400 will have their subscription initially set to what's in your group's Default Sub Settings tab of the Settings page. Hope you've set that they way you want. The ones that wait to be transferred will have their subscription settings copied from your Yahoo Group, including Email Delivery and Posting Privileges (but not Role). 2019, but I can't see it in the messages section. Messages only go
to 2002.

Have you received the email saying that the transfer is complete?? If not, it's still in process so things may be sluggish.? Also check your status page. Does it take a while to "recover" after a transfer, and function again?
All the posting settings appear to be the same.

I set up a new private group (onteye), and tried some test emails, all was well.
I then invoked the automated transfer from yahoogroups. Only about 75% of the messages transferred.
But, the real issue, is that now the group does not accept any posts at all.
