During scheduled system downtime, there is a status page at??. Click the "Subscribe to Updates" button on that page to get updates via email. You can also get status updates via the . And of course, there is always .

For unscheduled downtime -- like what happened today -- it may be awhile before Mark can troubleshoot the problem, bring the system back online, and then notify everyone as to what happened. Please understand that fixing the underlying problem is going to take priority over any other activity. Multiple posts to the support address during system downtime may actually be counterproductive.

Hope this helps,
Bruce

As you have discovered, it is possible to delete an image from a message via the Edit function, but not to add or swap one out. If you find you need to do this on any frequent basis this might be a good suggestion for beta.

This problem has arisen before, but without a clear explanation as to how it came about. Wondering now what would happen if someone deleted their account with a subscription pending (probably the same thing).

You could try having the subscriber revert to his former address, delete the pending subscription, then have him change it again. However, I think it would be better to send this same message to [email protected]?so Mark can actually fix the bug.

Bruce?

Re: Monthly # of messages seems to have gone....

I highly suspect that it's a result of some changes that were recently made.? I just checked my groups and find that the history has disappeared on 2 of the 7 groups.? Your best recourse would be to contact [email protected] for assistance.

Not that I'm aware of. You can, however, put an image in your group profile, which will appear with each message in the online message archive. See Subscription>Group Profile>Edit Group Profile.

Sig line images sent to the group via email tend to proliferate in the Emailed Photos folder. Some group owners find this annoying.

If you use a E-Mail program, it works. Like mine "Thunderbird" it automatically adds the signature seen below.

Phantom New Subscriber Pending Approval #bug

One of my members tried to change his email by joining anew. I didn't approve his application and told him how to change his email address on the group. I'm not sure what happened then, but the result is that I have a notification icon (black blob with a white number) but no would-be member details. See screenshot below.

For the other groups I subscribe to,

Any idea why?

Thank you for your rapid reply.

I have read the terms and will keep that in mind for future use.

However, my inquiry wasn¡¯t covered specifically in the terms listed so will keep it on the back burner for now.

Have a good weekend.

Hello I have a few questions?

Debbie

1.What can I do to delete old mail from when I first opened my group on group .io ?

2. My second one is that someone has hacked my group accounts a few times. Now its getting old the person Banned me and locks me out. Any ideas I have changed my password. I got a silent email address in there now that nobody knows so I can put myself back in but its a pain in the u know what?

3. If you have other owners/ mods and they all the sudden they removed there? self from the group but now is bothering your member's to join there group, is there away you can get someone into trouble.? I have a few groups its not a big group of mine but one of my smaller ones and there older ladies they do not want there email's tossed around what can I do for them?

Thank you Debbie

OR?
2) Add?a photo that was omitted from the original?message,?e.g.,?"D'oh, I attached?the wrong pic"?

Re: IO.Group Owner

nobe,

Does io.groups have any rules, regulations, owner guidelines that should be followed if representing io.groups?

Generally group owners are held to the same ToS as any other user. See the Terms link at the bottom of any Groups.io page. I'm not aware of any extra rules regarding group ownership.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "representing io.groups" -- no user should be passing themselves off as an official of Groups.io -- such behavior would certainly be a violation of item 4 in the User Conduct section.

If so, where/how would a group owner need to be reported.

At the bottom of the Terms page: Please contact us at [email protected] to report any violations of these Terms of Service or to pose any questions regarding this Terms of Service or the Service.

Good Evening!

I have an uncommon question that needs to be answered if possible.

Curiously awaiting a reply.

Thank you in advance.
