Thanks Bruce, the issue is solved. Apparently for some reason, a setting in Firefox flipped to "Save". Prior to that is was "Open" in the browser.? I believe the TOE did something to make that

The file upload dialog box often has trouble displaying PDFs as thumbnails. But this should not affect the upload, nor should it affect your ability to subsequently view them. As for downloading...
