Thanks for the reply.? I will check things out.

I have another question.? In one of the groups I transferred a number of photo albums are now showing me as the creator and not the original yahoo creator.? Would this be because the original creator was lost in the transfer process due to bouncing, out of date, etc. email addresses?

Photo attachments (and attachments to emails in general) will not be transferred, so you don't need to worry about them. In each group Subscription settings page, under Advanced Preferences there is the option:

Following Only
Only the messages in threads or hashtags you have chosen to follow are emailed to you, according to your Email Delivery Selection.
But how do I chose to follow a topic/thread? It seems the only way is to send an email to that thread?

As Duane mentioned this topic has been raised as - HERE. Pity it's taking so long to change what I would think is a simple enhancement (but I'm no programmer (;>)

It is a bit infuriating in my subject lines I have to preface with a European date to make sure the members of my Groups (amateur radio - and times - 24hr clock in Z/UTC/GMT) can recognise the date format correctly 01/06/18 - 1st of June or 6th January? Of course the 1st of June from our perspective.

And a last, a lot of progressive on-line sites are starting to adopt the standard for dating format YY/MM/DD/M and no AM/PM just 24hrs.

I believe that for Y!G transferred groups the starting date will be the date of the first post, as the agent has little else to go on. But there could be something happening with US vs European date format conversion, too. Only Mark at [email protected]?could explain for sure.

Open your own user record (Admin->Members->Find and Click on your own row) and the click on the Email Delivery History button at the top of the resulting page. Any recent bounces listed? Let us know what you find.

Not that I'm aware of. I preferentially chose the darker hashtag colors to increase contrast against the white text.

I have a yahoo group that is currently using 1GB of photo space and about 93 MB of file space.? I know groups.io has a combined limit of 1 GB.

If I want to transfer my group do I have to reduce the size of the photos or reduce the number of photos or will the transfer process reduce the size of? the photos so I am under the 1 GB limit?

Question about Hashtag font color #hashtags

We have had a request in our group to change the font color on the hashtags to black as they are having difficulty seeing the white font.? I looked in the hashtag section but couldn't seem to find a place where I could change the font color, only the color of the hashtag itself.? Is there a way to change the font color?

I forgot to mention that locking the thread doesn't close voting in the poll, so you need to manually close it via the Edit function.

?FYI, the hashtag is created, if it doesn't already exist, when the first poll is started.? It's a good idea to see what the settings are though.

The only problem with using the hashtag is that it can lock the thread, but doesn't send the results.

That bit is straightforward. Firstly, have you set up a Poll hashtag? I suspect that you have not . If you set one up then setting the poll duration is part of the creation of the hashtag; you gt the choice of "Forever", or I hour, I day, I week, 1 month or 1 year. I suspect that if you rely on some sort of "poll default setting" that it is 1 month, but I could of course be mistaken.

Would you please so kind to send a screenshot of this? Also in the admin, there is place under Message Formatting in the admin that you can set to "delete old attachments". Those two settings will help.

Hi Rosalee! For free groups, you are allowed 1 gb of storage. I have an Incredimail group. I have learned that the best thing to do to prevent buildup of space on the server is to go into your admin to settings and disable photos because everything because everything with graphics attached has the graphics automatically dumped into a folder in photos. Also in the admin, there is place under Message Formatting in the admin that you can set to "delete old attachments". Those two settings will help.

Thanks Duane! I can't wait for that feature. One of my groups has weekly polling and would be nice to have them automtically close at a date and time of my choosing and send out the results to the members.
