I've come to Groups.io forum to create a forum for the AV Team at my church. ?It's become clear that a successful AV forum will spur interest in forums for other church teams, each with its own subgroup.

I'm now faced with this question: ?When I create the first subgroup, does the original group automatically become its own subgroup?

To my understanding, the Daily Summary behaves similarly to a Digest, except you get the topics list instead of a string of messages, and it only arrives once a day.

As such:

- Any new topics (started up since your last summary) will be listed in today's Summary.

- Existing topics that you haven't followed will not be listed.

- Topics you're following will be listed, but only if they have further activity.

I must acknowledge that I have not tested this. Perhaps someone will do so overnight.

If a group allows it, you can select a font color in the editor by clicking open the secondary toolbar. See screenshot below for "dark gray."

I have a member that is unable to access posts via the links from the daily summary.

They are redirected to the forum homepage instead of the post. Per their screen shot (attached), they are logged in (I've crossed out their name for privacy).

The forum homepage has the "Apply for Membership" button, even though they are already subscribed.

How do I fix this?

In any group where hashtags are allowed, the list gets created based on any hashtags that are created.? Since GMF doesn't require them, and members are allowed to create them, the list is based on those that were created.

FYI, I just created a Python script to return the list of hashtags associated with a group. The documentation indicates that you should be able to sort the results by a returned field name, in this case, topic_count, but does not appear to work. The results are always returned in alphabetical order based upon the lowercase version of the hashtag name, either ascending or descending as specified on the request.? I have raised this as a #bug in and will report feedback here when I get it.
