If they're not showing up in the Pending Messages queue, they didn't get to GIO.? Sounds like a problem with your email service.

If you have a Basic/free group, you won't hear back from support.? It's only for paid groups - /helpcenter at the top.

We need a bit more info.
Which email app? From Sympatico? On your phone or tablet or computer?

Have you logged into your group site? Are the messages there? Have you received any messages in your mail?

When you log in, have you checked Activity List in Admin?
Have you checked your Subscription (left side of group homepage) to see whether you are bouncing? Check Email Delivery button.

That's a yes (with at least Billing permission) because otherwise they wouldn't have access to the Admin menu.? According to Mark's explanation, whatever happens to them doesn't change their status as payor unless/until another person assumes the status.? If they don't remove their CC info first, they could be charged for the next renewal.

You're using 2 different email addresses.? eblen1953@... and eblen1953@...? As far as GIO is concerned, those are 2 different people.? It doesn't know that they're the same service, it just takes them literally.

It sounds like you used a different email address for the new group and
right now GIO thinks you are that person. You would have to log out on the
website and log in using your original email address. Others will tell how
to change things so you only have the one address.

HI..i have a problem..i just accepted a invitation to a group and it asked for me to update my profile
i only added a photo
now all my i.o.groups are gone..i cannot approve myself so im locked out of 2 of my groups im owner of..one ive had for nearly 20 years..
they say im not a member..and i cannot view the archive..i can post to my group but all owners rights are not showing..i cannot do anything as a owner..and on the drop down that shows you what groups you are in or own..mine are gone..

It's a pity there isn't an option "moderate message if non-existing hashtag is used" or "moderate message if no hashtag is found".

Bouncing seems to rude, and removal causes subject lines to lose meaning, as some users who come from a social media background are used to using hashtags in the #middle of a #sentence (in the of a).

(I'm also [re-]learning that adding hashtags via the web to existing messages can backfire terribly, splitting up topics into two.)

If you're the group owner/mod, the hashtags will be created when you send a message.? If a member account tries, they'll be removed. The subject "help me with #ms word" would become "help me with word".

Ah, but... have you also got it set such that only Moderators can create new hashtags? If so, if you test as an Owner (i.e. a Moderator) any non - existing hashtag will suddenly be created.
