Yahoo stuff doesn't disappear until December 14th.? I certainly hope all the transfers can be done by then.

Randy, can you tell us at what stage you are at in the transfer? Have you started it? Or is it just at the groups.io group formation stage i.e. a spelling error when setting up your new group?

Well, Bill, at least you got your deleted.? I deleted two Email photos, which give a blank space with email title, so I don't think it got deleted.? I am on Basic and will have to delete photos evenutally.

This has me confused. I want our group to be visible, but I don't want our messages to be visible to anyone but subscribers. I was going to change the settings to group listed in the public, messages private, but I wonder if I'm missing something? We have a restricted membership if that makes any difference.

When I send messages to +help, things working fine.? ?Must have made mistake before.

The group I am starting right now has all moderators or owners.? ?Once I get this working, I will transfer our yahoo group over.? ?I have two email addresses; the alternate Gmail does transfer to my main email address, which I use on groups.io.? When I send messages to [email protected],?emails don't seem to be transmitted to my main email address.? They are in my alternate email inbox.

Is this because groups.io has some functionality that emails I send do not appear in my Gmail box?? Even though I send them to an alternate, which is then forwarded?? ?

I think this is the problem, but I want to double-check.? ?Thanks for your help.

You need to define the Type and other attributes for each column, and those can't necessarily be inferred from the csv data.

Seems to me that since the values in the csv file are text, that "text" might be a good first guess at the type.

Thanks for providing the secret, once I got the columns named right, it just worked. ?:-)

My row numbers now start at 37, because I deleted the 18 rows twice before I got all the columns to load. ?Anybody have any idea how to renumber them from "1", besides completely deleting table, and doing it from scratch? ?For now I'll just live with them staring at 37.

I am at #871

I was at #801 Monday night when I hit step 3

This morning I went from #856 to #904 in an hour.

I didn’t delete and/or restart my request, although my first invite went nowhere apparently and it took me a week to see that. Too bad that happened, because I paid on 10/18 and would have been much further along if that didn’t happen. :(

Hi Linda,

I have done that the last days.

-Use Firefox

-Move over the Photo with the mouse pointer

-Press the right button

-Select inspect element or something like that

-Then go to the window that has opened

-In this window some lines above the cursor is a line that contains the URL of the photo

-Mark this line

-Press the right mouse button

-select ->copy -> outer HTML?? or something like that

-open a new tab

-insert that copied text

-Strip everything that is not the URL of the picture away

-Open the URL

-You should now see the picture

-Press the right butten and save the photo to your harddisk

-Done :-)

If you can't get this done email me the groupname and I will post the photo back to you.

I will only comment on the "importing members". You can invite members in the free or basic plan.

About databases - hopefully someone else will comment.

I gave up on importing members - saw only the prem version allows that anyway.

I made several attempts to create a database.? At first nothing showed up. Now I have multiple replica rows showing I can't delete.

You might want to check your spam/junk folder.? Now and then a service or email client decides to put groups.io email there.

Does a member need to be approved before I can receive their completed questionnaire?

If you're using the Pending Subscription notice, that will have a reply address of groupname+owner so it should come to your email address via the site.
