I have done that the last days.
-Use Firefox
-Move over the Photo with the mouse pointer
-Press the right button
-Select inspect element or something like that
-Then go to the window that has opened
-In this window some lines above the cursor is a line that
contains the URL of the photo
-Mark this line
-Press the right mouse button
-select ->copy -> outer HTML?? or something like that
-open a new tab
-insert that copied text
-Strip everything that is not the URL of the picture away
-Open the URL
-You should now see the picture
-Press the right butten and save the photo to your harddisk
-Done :-)
If you can't get this done email me the groupname and I will post
the photo back to you.

I have transferred or recreated a number of groups from YG onto
GIO. I have backed up messages/files/photos on the groups that
were not full "easy transfers", via PG Offline. My question is
whether there is a way to download existing cover photos from YG,
which I had initially created and uploaded years ago but failed to
keep the originals files accessible. It would be nice to be able
to reuse some of these banner photos on the new groups rather than
starting from scratch. I do not see any obvious way to download
them from the YGs, nor can I see where they would be stored on the
group site/settings. Any suggestions? Linda N
