I am wondering if others here have managed to figure out what the pattern is with original posts being carried over in replies? Some we see in the pending message - but once approved - they nicely

It sounds like you unticked it. I personally wish Groups.io would automatically append a "special notice" banner at the top of special notice messages. It would make things easier for the moderators

It's all working for me. To check (not using the log) if a special notice got sent, you can go into a special notices member and check their email delivery history. Yes, I sent a notice this morning.
