Indeed. My approach has been to insert my bit in bold italic to draw eyes towards it and away from the boilerplate component. My last one, for instance said in the insert: For simplicity, just [reply]

Randy -- The invitation boilerplate is static and cannot be changed. Your best option may be to create an "invitation email" of some kind that contains a mailto: link to the group's +subscribe
