It sounds to me like some settings have been changed that limit the options for the group, creating these problems.? As the group owner, you should make sure everything is set correctly.? Group

Barbara, ...but now both messages came straight after to the group so everyone will When creating the event, uncheck *Send Invite To Group*. Also, if you didn't, check *Send Notice To Group When Event
