Re: Messages to Owner

I am supposing you are the group owner.? If not you cannot view owner messages.

If you log into your group, look on the left bars.? You will see a tab for Admin.? This will show you any pending messages or members.

That is the only place?I am aware of.? I am sure there are any other number of places to look I am unaware of.

Doug?

Oh. Yeah ?I always do tings via email, I never use the website for such things so if someone wants to email the owner address and we all get it in our inboxes that's good enough for me. I can take care of any problems on the road.

Take care

You're talking about which email address receives the message. I think the question was where to find the emails within . The answer to "who receives the message" is all moderators whose "Owner Email" boxes are checked, all or in part.

To expand on that...? Currently, you have to click on each member to see the "+owner messages" button for that person.? There's been discussion on beta@ to have a single page for this, and other, information for the group owner.

Should that not in theory just be the email you signed up with, that is if you are logged into with jane@... would that not be the owner address for all of your groups? I'm ?guessing but that has ben my experience so far with other groups I've run on verious platforms

Re: Searching Members by Name and/or Email #membership

If there are pending members the default view of admin/members shows
those pending (presumably because you are expected to do something
about them). Just click on the the 'pending' box and select members to
show them all. If there are no pending it opens by default to all
members.

I am puzzled you are having issues with this. I search members all the
time there and it just works.

You're looking at something different than I am.? Those waiting for
approval are on the Pending page.? The Members page has all members and
can be searched.

Re: Searching Members by Name and/or Email #membership

Sorry. Sloppy fingers. As I was saying....

I'd have thought ADMIN, MEMBERS would work but it only shows those members waiting for approval to join, not the whole group.

That sounds like a bug.

The place to search all members is under ADMIN, SUBGROUPS. Hardly logical, but there it is....

If you are the group owner or a moderator that the owner has granted access to the members list, there is. If you aren't the owner or moderator with necessary privileges, then no there isn't.?
Ok if you are an owner or mod with certain privileges in the left hand panel you will see the title Admin, click on it to access the various links.?

Searching Members by Name and/or Email #membership

There must be a way to search the full membership by name or email. Preferably both, but I can't find it. The Directory doesn't seem to be searchable. What (and where and how) am I missing...?

Thanks,

Re: Why no List-Post: header?

If you are using android try aquamail as well to see if that works. I don't know if that will help you any but good luck and see if that is easier in approving messages.
?
This is actually ow I approve messages when on the go for my lists.

I don't think so. Mark backed out that change, and besides I doubt it ever applied to pending notifications.

When I hit Reply, it sends to the NoReply address.
It formerly would do a Reply To and send to the moderation approval
address "HQ281stAHC+xxxxxx etc".
The Gmail app on my Android phone still works correctly - obeying the Reply-To field's +approve address rather than using the From field's noreply address. I approved Sarah's message that way.

Reply will no longer approve a message.
I think something else must have changed your email app's behavior. Or you're using a different app, or something.

Yahoo still works correctly.
Yahoo puts the -accept address in the From, avoiding sole reliance on the Reply-To field (which it also provides).
