As suggested earlier in this thread the best source of information is the section in this Group's wiki about

As an option you can put a link to it in a message, but that can be forgotten about all to easily by those reading it; a wiki entry is there forever! (As far as I can see there is no way of making a wiki entry simply a link to the GMF wiki.)
The subject is complex and you will go mad trying to explain it to members on an ad hoc basis;
far better to provide them with the Guidance right from the outset. Sadly, from experience, there is no guarantee that they will actually bother to read it.
