As suggested earlier in this thread the best source of information is the section in this Group's wiki about
Removed for Marking Messages as Spam. Although composed on this Group it should not be seen as exclusive to it, and you are thus free to copy and paste it into your own Group's wiki. As an option you can put a link to it in a message, but that can be forgotten about all to easily by those reading it; a wiki entry is there forever! (As far as I can see there is no way of making a wiki entry simply a link to the GMF wiki.)
The subject is complex and you will go mad trying to explain it to members on an ad hoc basis;
far better to provide them with the Guidance right from the outset. Sadly, from experience, there is no guarantee that they will actually bother to read it.
