So far the only Groups.io messages that my Apple Mail application has put in its JUNK folder are some of the "Welcome to <group>@Groups.io" messages that came when I transferred groups from YahooGroups that had more than 3 of my email addresses subscribed.
What is the need or reasoning behind "Automatic Unsubscribe"?
Is there a need??? What is it?
Why the punishment of "Automatic Unsubscribe" for:
a) members failing to check SPAM or JUNK folder before deleting
b) members purposely or accidentally marking a Groups.io message as SPAM or JUNK
Is this an attempt of Groups.io to boost its reputation as 'not a SPAM vehicle'?
If so, might it backfire on Groups.io by making it seem unreliable for members to stay subscribed...
One of my Hotmail addresses gets dozens of real SPAM messages most every day. I do check and pull out legitimate messages before clearing it out at least 3 times a day. I do know people who say they get 100s of SPAM messages every day, and we're all using Apple's Mail application... I do tell them they should check (and check more frequently), but they say they don't have time for that...
