Re: Transferring from a PG Offline database (.pg4) to groups.io #pgoffline

Dale,

He has tried numerous email logon's and can't get in.
... We may have to work harder on the issue of restoring the owner's
log in ability.
Look in your Y!group's Manage Members list, on the Moderators tab, and see what is listed for him in the Yahoo Profile column. The one with a blue crown, if he has more than one entry in the list.

That's the ID he needs to use to sign in as owner. Nevermind that the sign-in form now requests an email address, it still accepts the original Yahoo IDs.

I assume "Mark" is the head of Groups.io?
Yes, Mark Fletcher.

Click the link to the Groups.io announcement for more detail on the origin story.

So far, I haven't even set up the new group on groups.io, preferring
to ask questions first to make sure the direction we are going is
correct.
Ask away. I hope we can help.

Shal
