The boxed message will not appear in your group(s). It's on the transfer status page.

If you haven't logged in, do so (see?/static/help#password)
Go to the transfer page at??/yahootransfer
Scroll down to the very bottom.
Look for the "in-process" box at lower right and click in it. A list of groups being transferred should appear.
Select one of your groups.
At the top of the resulting page, look for the boxed message that I mentioned earlier.

If you see the message, all you can do is wait. If that message does not appear, then you must have skipped a step somewhere.
