I think it's a bug, users shouldn't worry about manually removing the photos from a message they reply to, it should not be posted again.
In any case, this is not was is happening in our group, what I found is that every person who navigates the photos on the groups.io site, becomes the user "by" which is populated, this is also a bug.
Where do we get actual support from groups.io? do they respond here? or do I need to open a support ticket somewhere?
