Yep, I acknowledge that even with 17 steps, I've left a lot out. I didn't provide guidance on how to transfer into a subgroup, edit the areas to be transferred, or transfer several groups at once. I didn't mention the emails going to subscribers upon completion [something not readily verifiable by the owner], or how to keep that from happening. I left out a lot of "best practices" already discussed elsewhere. And of course, contacting GIO support is always an option if you find yourself stuck.

When people are struggling with the basic process, it's best to focus on the basics. I encourage those undergoing this process to also examine the GMF wiki at?/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Transfer-from-Yahoo-Groups?and scour it thoroughly for supplemental information. That said, I'd like to think the content of my previous email should be sufficient to get most people from Point A to Point B.
?

Bruce
