Would it be possible to change the [GMF] for this group to something
like [GMF2] or [GMF-G] or whatever so I could filter all of this
groups messages into its own folder apart from the Yahoo GMF folder?
I thought of doing something like [GMFio] when I had the same problem with my email filter. But I didn't like the look of that going forward.
Instead I just added "To" contains "yahoogroups.com" to the filter. Not all email software/services may be flexible enough to have two conditions on a filter, but you could probably use the To field alone to filter them properly.
