Re: Should bouncing messages result in deletion of member from group?

Hi Lena!

What exactly was the Subject of that notification?
Was the text of the link in it just one word "UNBOUNCE"?
It's for explanation for members in welcome message in my group.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think the message was plain text; the link appeared as a bare URL in the forward I received and I don't think my mod would have made that change on her own.

Here's a sanitized example:

Subject: Your Groups.io Account Is Bouncing

Hello,
Recently, emails sent to you have bounced back to us. This can be for many reasons, including:
- We have an incorrect email address for you.
- Your account was or is full.
- Other temporary delivery issues.
We have suspended email delivery to you. This means you will no longer receive messages from the groups you are subscribed to, including:
- Example
- Example+board
- Example+exec-board
- Example+teachers
- Example+staff
You must take action to restore your account, or we will unsubscribe you from all of the groups you are a member of.
To unbounce your account, go to the following link:
https :// groups.io / unbounce ?email=user @ example.com&cookie=[many decimal digits]

Thank you,
The Groups.io Team
