I tried this yesterday and yes, things do get all bolixed up if there are more than five hashtags! Some are dropped, the rest appear in a different (and seemingly random) order, etc. The behavior is different in messages in the archive (the email versions sometimes include more than five and sometimes drop anything more than five). It's very wonky. I've let Mark know at support. -- J
