Janice, I have one possible explanation.?
I own a couple of freecycle groups, that are moderated.
There have been times where I have approved a message, only to
notice that the message has not come through the group, maybe for
6 to 8 hours.
So, I approve it again, only to see it come through twice within a
minute or two, both with the same time stamp.
If other messages were approved in the meantime, then there would
be messages between the two identical messages.
Your clue would be to look at the complete header and note whether
the messages had to be approved by a moderator, and if so, check
the time they were approved, it will probably show two different
times if the situation was like I described.
Otherwise, I would not know.
