Re: How do I download an image into an album on my groups.io ?

I thank you for your two replies. I am very tired now (my brain not functioning enough to cope with these?kinds of software talk),?so have saved to a file what you wrote and will check out what you said tomorrow.

I?messaged all the people on the list the new photo was there.?

I can see now that if I click on the title of the photo album beneath its lead picture, I find myself offered commands which enable me to upload (the word is not used anywhere) a jpg from my desktop. I did think of deleting the new album _after_ I succeeded in putting the picture in the previous "Members" album.

I don't understand this quite;

"That page of the Wiki was written by someone with an Album named My W&W and should be made generic so everyone will understand.? The Wiki page needs to be cleaned up, but has all the basics ..".

Do you mean the page that Duane sent is the "wiki" page?? What is the wiki page?

I will come back on this tomorrow if I need help.

Ellen

That page of the Wiki was written by someone with an Album named My W&W and should be made generic so everyone will understand.? The Wiki page needs to be cleaned up, but has all the basics.? As Bruce mentioned, it's very easy to add to an existing album, so you could put that photo in the Members album and delete the new album.

No notification is sent to the group, so you'd need to do that.? There have been suggestions made on beta for notifications and/or a New Photo album, but those are down the road, if at all.
