I don't see any formal problems with that.? A couple of suggestions.? Set the group so that all messages are moderated.? Have the translator opt to receive a notice when there is a pending message.? They would then go to the web site and add the translation (edit message) before approving it.? I may be wrong, but I would think that most people living in Mexico would know Spanish, so you may be overthinking this.

Another option would be to require, as a Group Guideline, those posting to at least include the Google Translate version of their message.? They're not perfect, but should get the message across and would be less work for one person.? I have some folks (Canadians) on a couple of my groups that are more comfortable using French, so we ask that they do this since most of us only know English.? As an example for Spanish:
