Re: Bouncing emails #bouncing

The system will automatically send them bounce probes every 3 or 4 days for 2 weeks. So I give them that much time. Then I typically send them an email. If that bounces I remove them, if it doesn't I send a few more bounce probes and then remove them if they don't unbounce themselves. It also depends on the reason given for the bounce. Some are things like "account doesn't exist" and those I would remove. Others are things like "mailbox full" which in theory could be fixed. Those I give more time to be dealt with.

What should be done for the bouncers?
What I usually do is send them a bounce probe and wait.? If they don't unbounce within a week or so, I remove them.? It doesn't hurt to leave them in the group, it just clutters things a bit.? rr.com is one of the email services that sometimes doesn't play well with Groups.io, so it's not uncommon to see regular bounces.
