My first bad experience with YG was after the Neo upgrade (I guess you can call it an upgrade), and then again in the last few months or so. One day the Photo Albums were not working very good, then another day the Files, then the Membership List, and on and on. Granted it didn't happen all the time, but enough over a period of time I began to wonder if things were going to get better or not. That's when I decided I should investigate if there were other sites I might like to move my group too, but after reading what other comparable sites offered I couldn't find one that offered what I was looking for. It was only by accident while looking through YG help groups looking for answers, did I hear mention of Groups.io. I looked Groups.io over, made a test site (Which became our new site), and experimented with what I could do with it for almost a month. The feel of Groups.io was different (And so was the look), but it did fill the bill for me so I moved our group to Groups.io. One big difference in my decision to move was support. Over at YG there is no company phone number to call for help, there is no company email address to write to for help with YG, and there is no person to communicate with online dealing with the groups. The only place you get any kind of help at YG is with the help user groups, but they can't doing anything about bugs or fixes to the groups...That's why YG is slowly going down in my opinion. At Groups.io the GMF is much more effective than my experience was at YG, and I have actually had correspondence with the owner and developer Mark! To be honest I liked YG, well, before the Neo upgrade. Something that surprised me after the transfer was, I've gotten members posting to our new site, telling me it has been the first time in months they have been able to post at all. Now I'm done with YG, and I'm all in at Groups.io.
