They themselves can log into their iCloud account and see whether their group messages are in junk. If so, they should pull them out. ?Or the person can contact iCloud about them bouncing.

Or try to log into the group using their password or /sendloginlink
If they do, they should follow the instructions, I believe it is now two-step.
