======= Thanks Duane. I thought as much. So, we'll just let 'em waste their time posting stuff that'll never show up in the group messages. If there is any downside to all those non-member posts is that they clutter up the Adtivity list. Arrgh!
Otherwise it just seems like a huge waste of time on those spammers' parts . . .

Not necessary a waste of time on a spammer's part. Some (many) spammers make their money by selling lists of so-called "verified" email addresses. So they will have already made their money before their "customers" have even sent out their first email blast.
