I use one (and the same) account for my laptop, my iPhone, my iPad.?
Yes, I had to use Email Me A Link to Log In on each device and browser (if I didn't have a password set), but I didn't have to sign up on that device.

Perhaps I am mistaking your meaning. To me, though, it looks like you created another account and the new account is forwarding email to your laptop.
