quite say... no it isn't. While the suggestion of deleting it from the message archive is possible, I'm not sure that that is a good idea, at least not right away.
Far better IMHO would be to "reply" to it stating that the message was sent in error and should be disregarded, and then make sure that the thread is locked
immediately so that further replies, comments and so on cannot be posted. Deleting the erroneous original will not prevent any replies to it being posted as a new thread; if that happens then the confusion will spread.
