I have searched through a good volume of support documents about GROUPS.IO but have not found any way to get a new owner. I will volunteer to take on this responsibility but need some help on how to do this.

If that doesn't work (i.e.: you cannot gain access to his email address), you will likely need groups.io support to intercede. Send an email to
[email protected]. If the group is a Premium, paid group (as it probably is, if you're sharing videos), Mark should eventually get back with you. Whether he will do what you ask him to do isn't clear, though. It's hard to know what the original Owner's intentions were...he may have
wanted to the group to die with him.
The best way to address this situation is to not let it happen in the first place.?If you do gain ownership, the first thing you should do is name a co-Owner.?
