When I look at the Home page of my group on my iphone, the menu on the left does not have options for either Messages or New Topic--
I can't tell for sure whether you are using the mobile version or the app. However, if you close that screen with the X (right side) you get to the messages. ?The writing tools are at the bottom of the page.
