/helpcenter/membersmanual/1/working-with-calendars/using-the-rsvp-feature.? If you have a Legacy Basic group, I think you'll already have all the features available.
By "custom tags" I was referring to the ability to add custom key/value pairs to a calendar entry, which would then show up when someone views it, for instance novel fields like "Organizer Fax", "Event Type", "Event Sponsor", etc.
Most, if not all, of that could be put in the Event Information Panel.? If you use RSVP, you can also include a request for additional information from attendees when they are filling in the RSVP form.
