Thanks for that information.
That is what I didn't do. I will do that in the future.
I need to remember to remove the image from both places.
I am sure I will be able to test that out soon LOL

Leeni,
?
I did some testing on editing messages with attachments (in the body or
at the end of the message) some time ago for a GMF image attachment
thread so this is relatively fresh and there is definitely a bug there.

Unless it gets fixed, when you edit a message which has inline embedded
images in the body, check the graphic you want to delete in the
"attachments"as you already do now, but before clicking on Save Message,
scroll through the message textbox above and find that same image that's
displayed up there, select it, and Del it. If you don't delete the image
in both places, and only do one in either direction*, you'll experience
things like yours.

* It's funkier the other direction, i.e. delete the textbox inline image
but leave the attachment and save; the image doesn't show anymore in
message display but if the message is re-edited the "deleted" image
reappears in the "attachments" section ... you can funky it even more by
deleting different images in the body vs the "attachments" section, and
you can end up in a message which displays different images on the
message body textbox vs the "attachments" section when edited again ...
I'll have to look back at notes to get the exact details and I'll post
another message in order to keep this one fixing-your-problem only, but
in a nutshell, the same underlying code is used for handling editing of
both messages with traditional body-end attachments and inline
message-body images, and it "shoehorns" message-body images in being
handled the same as message-end images in both code and db storage and
things are not staying synchronized between the "attachments" and
message body section in the message editing screen.
